What do customers ask about Same-Day Appointments?

Common questions and tips from our work with Old Mill Creek customers.

How early should I call for a same-day groom?

Earlier is better, but we hold slots throughout the day. Calling between 9 and 11 AM gives you the widest choice of times, though we have squeezed in afternoon callers plenty of times. If the day fills up, we will offer the first opening tomorrow so you are not left guessing. A quick call to (847) 361-9653 is all it takes to find out where you stand.

Can an anxious dog get a same-day appointment?

Yes, and anxious pets often do better on a same-day visit because there is no long buildup. Josie works slowly, lets your dog settle at their own pace, and never rushes a frightened animal through the table. The rural shop setting on Main Street in Old Mill Creek stays calm and quiet, which helps first-timers and nervous dogs alike.
